He had | just returned from Council Bluffs, where he had been teaching a band, and was looking forward to his happy wedding day, when disease o suddenly laid him low. The funeral took place Saturday from the residence of his hrother, C. C. Norgaard, and the remains were followed to the tomb by a large procession of oar- nest friends, the Danish band playing & funeral dirge, every tone speaking the sadness of their hearts. He leaves three brothers here to mourn his loss; heaviest of all was the blow to the pure hearted woman who was soon to become his wife.
