OFFICE 08 THE OnARA BEF, Saturday Evening, July 28, Notwithstanding the fact that the strike of the telegraph operators has continued unabated during the week, the usual amunt of busi- ness hus been transacted in the general whole- sale and commission market, Grain has suf- fered somewhat, however, but yesterday and to-day prices were again quoted as usual and everything seems tomove on in & satisfactory manuer. Prices have fluctuated considerably on all sides, but in the main are about the sume as a week ago. The general produce and fruit warket is well supplied and the demand good. The ouly change in the market worthy of note is the decline of live stock to-day, which is as follows: Fat steers declined 50@75c; fat cows de- clined 25@?50c; fut hogs declined 50, and sheep declined 25¢.
