Outside of those who camoe out of curiosity, there were probably two hundred who took a live interest in the meetlug. The striot enforcement of all ex- {sting laws and ordinances for the pro- teotion of life and property. 2. The purification of the police and other departments of the city govern- ment that lawlessness and vice may be exterminated and purished. 8. The abolition of the contraot ays- tem on city improvements, 4 Full acoountability of all public servants for faithful performance of dutles. 6. Improvements in the streats and avenues as spoedily as the revenues will allow, at the expense of the city. 6 Sufticient compensation to public servants, and all feen of offica deposlt- ed to the city’s credit. 7. A license law for the regulation of tho traffic In liquor of not less than $800 per annum., 8. The support for cfficial position of such men only as will, by their good character and adherenco to these principlesin the past, guarantee thoir contormity to them in publio life.
