O¥rICE OF THE OMAHA Bik, Saturday Evening, July 22, The wholesale trade of the city for the moason of the year continues to be moder- ately active on mail order account, The weather of the past week has ben more favorable and strengthened the gen- eral opinion in regard to the magnitude of the crops, it being more generally appar- ant that crops of all kinds, including cora, will be large, Cornis & good stand and color, and growing finely, and the farmers all giving it extra attention, Dry goods were in moderate request and quoted steady, Manufuctured clothing showed cousiderable animation, Bouts and shoes are beginning to receive more attention, while millinery poods were delt in sparingly, Drug trade is reported more active, and prices firm, espscially in oplum and qulnive, Groceries were active withla good trade in all the staples at compara- tively steady prices. Dried and green fruits were fairly active at quotations.
