Tenth Street Sewer Caved In, As predicted by Tk BEE the first real shower of rain that has come has twisted the Tenth street sewer into a shapeless mass of stone and rubbish. the water is rushing through there seeking an outlet through the crevi- ces. The money and labor spent on the affair is utterly wasted. The ground on the north side of the bridge is filled with fissures and every now and then a small section of tergitory drops into the flood below. ‘Whether the abutments of the bridse itself are endangered depends entirely upon whether a rain storm should come up before something is done in the matter. The inlet to the sewer is choked up with a heavy mass of stone and filth. A better argument in favor of the sewer bonds probably could not be furnished. PERSONALS. M. E. F.
