Mr. Frack then told him that he was from Red Ock, Iowa, st which the stranger appeared much pleased and asked If ho knew Mr. Murry, a prominent Iawyer of Red Oak and claimed to be his brother. Mr. Frank laughingly teld him that he neither looked nor acted like Law- yer Murry, to which the stranger re- plied that he ““took after his mother,” while the lawyer rescmbled their father. The stranger then asked Mr. Frank to take a walk with him down to the office of his ageat, thronzh whom ho purchased his goods, As Frank was tired of waitlog he consented to the walk. They aro a large and happy family, presided oyer by Mrs. Jennie Kim- ball, Corlome’s mother, who, by the way, is a talker, and means businees from the word ‘“go.” The young tolks are weil-bred, and have good homes in Boston where they all be- long.
