Not toe right Bible, While riding on one of the railways leading into Omaha the other dag, an amusing incident occurred which lit the faces of all who witnessed it & broad but subdued smile. The néwa-boy passed somo books around among the passengers. Just above the head of a middle-aged, weary traveller was a small empty book-rack with the words, ‘‘Read and Return,” painted ou it. The weary passenger took up the book left in his seat, which happened to be a volume of Ingersoll's lectures, scanned it through, then innocently placed it in the rack. A ministerial gentleman sauntering through the carapproached the book as if to take it, but to hin “*horror and surprise” it was not the book he was looking for.
