Mr. Mac- ing down Jackson street and ahead of them was another automobile which came to & sudden stop withont giving a warning signal. In order to avoid hitting the other car, Mr. MacArthur pulled to the right and his car ran into the pole. The occupants were thrown against the wind- shield which was Dbroken.
