He brought before the club the urgent need of funds to carry on the work in this city which is greater than the majority of peopie | realize. The Salvation Army is one me- dium that can reach people that no other organization has ever been abls to do and is quietly doing a work of-untold good within our city. Captain Carpen- ter's talk was very inspiring and at the conclusion the club voted the customary contribution of §10 to the drive. Lerou and-Charles A. Saxton had been appointed delegates to the International Rotary convention that is to be held at Los Angeles in June. There were several one minute talks by various members _on impressions gained at the recent Hartford conclave of New England Rotary. Thoss who gave their impressions were Herbert C. Judge Nelson J.
