Hutchins wore nominated as local directors to be ratified at the annual meeting to be held shortly in Reeckville. The local mem- bership is 24. which is more than it was last year, but only about half the mem- bership at the time of the organization of the bureau. Plans for the years work were discussed and a two days’ extension schoof, to be held during the winter, was decided upon. During the fall a canvass for memgbers was made which resuited in a’ lafger membership Man last year, al- though the annual fee was increased from $2 {6 §$10, with the request that members subscribe for three years, which was not generally complied with, The burean declined t¢ accept any but active farm- ers, therety eliminating merchants and others wht, have given their moral an financial support to the bureau, although only indirestly benefited. During the lécturer’s hour the men of the grange presented a one-act play, Swimmin' Pool, the parts being taken by Raymond Lyman, William Wolft, Philip Isham, Clayton Hunt end Raymend Clarke. The play was amusing and very much enjoyed.
