The new bridge at Norwich Town was also nearing the completed state. The Laurel Hill school house was the topic of discussion at a well attended meeting of the Central school district §|and the mebting resulted in the pass- ing of a resolution calling for the ap- pointment of a committee of three to investigate the condition of the buil ing and report back to the district with |2 recommendation as to what should be done with the building. Following are brief extracts from the files of The Bulletin of September, 1871: Monday, Sept. 11—1871—The new court house presented a lively appear- ance yesterday, a large number of cit- izens being there to inspect the b ing. We have not learned the decis of the volunteer board of inspectors in regard to the work but suppose it will be a satisfactory one. The new court house bridge at Nor- ich Town is facst approaching comple- tion. The iron work is nearly finished and ready for the flooring and in a short time it will be open to, the public. Our new suits for Fall are heavy in value, medium in weight, light in price. The quality that cost $50.00 last year, now $32.50. This drop in price is as much a pleasure to US as it is to our most careful customer—and this low price is made possible because the mills have lowered the price of cloth and the manufacturers have lowered the cost of making and the designers have celebrated “the happy event” by making the most attractive patterns and color combina- tions we, or you, have ever seen. Just take a look. F. R. ADAMS 154 Elm $t., Lakeport, N. H. T realize that I have reached the age (65) when one often requires fixing up. My digestion was not right and trouble with my Liver and Bowels caused considerable Tess. I could not get rid of “he Consti- pation ; and the insufficient action of my bowels resulted in my blood absorbing the poisons. Last fall, I began taking ‘Fruit- a-tives’ or Fruit Liver Tablets, and after using them for a short time I could see they were just what my system required. My liver becama active and improvement in every way was apparent. I doubt whether anyone could feel better than I doj; and I am willing to give credit where credit is due, to ‘Fruit-a-tives’.” F. R.
