Funeral services were held for Mrs. Albena Amyot Bessette Mouday morning at 8 o'clock at the Sacred Heart church with Rev. U. O. Bellerose, celebrapt Rev. H. F. Chagnon deacor, and Rev. Jalbert sub-deacon. The bearers were Osi imantic, Alex Trofe, Emi unesse, L Joseph Lagare, Phil Brerier. Many friends and relatives attended. The floral forms were many and beautiful. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery. Undertaker G. G. Grant was the funeral director. A meeting of the board of directors of the Tailville Athletic association was held last evening in the Ponemah office. - The principal business before the meeting was the question concerning the managership of the soccer team. It was held by the directors that Mr. Knowles, who was ap- pointed manager of the soccer team early in the season, was still the rightful man- ager of the team, and he was directed by the board of directors to call a meeting, having the players appear before the board in the near future, to state tjeir grievances. According to Hickey’s story, the trolley was noticed by him when it was coming over the mill and. having the right of w: he continued across the tracks. of the opinion that the trolley could have been stooped in time. stated that the emergency brake on the car was thrown on and everything possi- ble had been done to avert the crash. The Ford was badly lamiged, the fend- ers on the left side being flattened azainst the side of the car. also smashed- and the rear tire on the right was punctured.
