The New Haven K .of C. club will battle the Jocal Kaceys at the Frair- ground tomorrow and 2 battle royal is ~xpected, as the New Haven team is composed of all star players and will put an Eastern league pitcher against the local boys. That wen't worry the home team any and it seems that the better.the pitcher the harder they hit and this game won't be any excep- tion. The New Haven manager has sent his lineup but omits his pitchers. It is as foliows: Bunnell; Galligan 1st; Burke 2b; Baffile b; Weston ss; Graham If; Herron cf; MeNamara rf; Kelleher and Stanley subs. The lineup for the home team .is-as follows: W. Murray If; Eddie Murray ss; Bill Austin cf; Kellar c¢; Twitchell 3b; Hayes 2b; McKay rf; Stapleton 1b; Daoust p, Patten and Lambs subs. The Norwich boys are putting up a splendid article of ball, all of them are fast on the bases and the ‘team that defeats them will have tg play ball all the time. Last Sunday two baseball ‘scouts were in the audience and upon the train going to New York they accidentally met a well known Norwich man and discussed baseball quite considerably. They said they had seen all the semi-pro teams in the state play and said Norwich has an excellent club and can give any team in the state a hard battle. They mentioned the fine batting work of Daust and Kellar, the first base playing of Stapleton, the fast work of Eddie Murray at shortstop; the base running sf Eddie McKay and Tinker Murray's playing at left field. One of the blayers of the All Insurance team theless the ex-chamn came back in the third round and this was his best round. He out-boxed and out ma- noeuvered Beckett. His blows, how- ever, lacked the old-time steam and he could not hurt his runed opponent.
