CLAIMS PAWNBROKERS WOULD NOT RETURN HIS DIAMOND Louis Bendett and Louis Elfenbein of New London, doing business under the firm name of the. New London Loan Co., has been made defendants in a suit for $300 damages brought against them by Joseph Santangelo. Hé alléges that he pawned a diamond valued at $300 with the company on Jan. §, 1919, and six months later he tendered the sum of $4.75 interest due and demanded the réturn of the dia- mond.
