Along the lines of progressiveness and similar steps taken by other cit- fes, the citizens of Willimantic at the wpecial city meeting held in the town ball Tuesday night, voted to motorize Its street department. The meeting was called to order at § o'clock by Mayor Charles A. € The call for tho meeting was read by City A. C. mioved that the following resolution be adopted: Voted: That the city appropriate and authorize the common council to appropriate $6,000 for the purchase and equipment of two auto trucks, on of two ton capacity and one of 1 ton capacity to and for the use of city in its siueet department.
