© WILLIMANTIC Sunday morning at 8.45, the fire de- partment was called out by an_alarm from Box 24 on the south side of Main street at the foo. of Main street. The fire proved to be in the house, 21 Hizh street, owned by Mrs, William Adams ¢ New Ijaven and occupied ly the tamilies of Pascal_Gagnon and George lavigne. The cause of the fire is be- lieved to huve been a defeciive ehim- rey as the fire started at a point where a stove-pipe entered the chim- rey and went on up through the at- tic, burning the roof.
