CLOUDY TODAY: PROBABLY. ‘What Is Going On Tonight ;gfl.. Hemru_n—nnea Theatre. Davis Motion Pictures at Audiforium The- atra —_— ANNOUNCEMENTS Safety rasor bhdu sharpened. E. Kirby, 337 Main K. Dance in Casino hall, Taftville, Sat- \lrlgv evening, Nov. 23, 1918. Music by Lang’s orchestra. Prize fox trot. Dudnz 7.45-12. Gentlemen 50c, ladies Agency Sells Linden Property. Archa W. Coit has sold for Nelson V. Porter a modern eight-room cot- tage house on Linden parkway. It has all latest improvements, including hardwood floors, electric lights and steam heater. There is a garden plot and a garage. The purchaser, Howard R. Benjamin, will reside there with his family in the near future. AUDITORIUM. William Duncan, Vitagraph's famous director-star and the most fearless man on the screens today, was born in Seotland, but was educated in the United States. Before coming to the stage he was an instructor in Mc- Fadden's physical culture school and later established a echool of his owr. He was in vaudeville with Sandow, played leads with Forepaugh, and also forméd a company of his own. Before coming to Vitagraph he played leads and directed for Selig. His energy, courage and Sreat strength at once were manffest in the Wolfville pictures and he was chosen to direct and take the leading male role in the two seri- als, The Fighting Trail and Vengeance —and the Woman, which proved the greatest serial sensations ever put out. He has set a new record in Vitagraph’s latest and greatest serial, A Fight for Millions, the sixth chapter of which will be seen in the Auditorium theatre today. This is enother thriller by Albert E. Smith, president of Vita- , graph, and Cyrus Townsenhd Brady. The heroine is Edith Johnson, intrepid serial player, who stops at no hazard where Trealism is at stakeé. Bill Hart in The Bandit and. the Preacher and Fatty Arbuckle in His Wild Night complete today’s bill. Four shows today, 1.30, 3.15, 6.15, 8.30. BREED THEATRE. Clara Kimball Young and her own company present as their latest Select offering The Savage Woman, adapted from Francis Curel’s La Fille Sauvage, and will’ be the feature attraction at the Breed theatre today. This picture contains many elaborately produced scenes. costly and marvelously staged. Tt shows Miss Young amid the wild beauties of the African jungle as re- incarnated Queen of Sheba, in the ruined splendor of an ancient palace, and as a half tamed thing amid the artificialities of Parisian high life. This role is vastly different from any which Miss Young has chosen before and it shows her to exceptional ad- vantage, Edward Kimball, Milton Sills, Marcia Manon and Clyde Benson are prominent members of the eupporting cast. Francis X. Bushman and Bev- erly Bayne are also to be seen at their best in the sparkling comedy pieture, With Neatness and Djspatch, taken from the story by Kenneth L. Roberts that was published in the Saturday Evening Post. The Hearst-Pathe news will complete the bill for today. Four ;P;Ds" as usual today, 1.30, 3, 6.15 and Coit Parkway MOVIE STARS APPEAR IN RED CROSS PICTURE Famous motion picture stars, a well New York studio and an ador- able little three-year-old girl, all do- nated their services to the Red Cross for the vivid photoplay, For All Hu- manity, which will be shown here for the first and only time this year, on the even)ng of Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the B iway church, at 8 p. m. No admission—no collection, For All Humanity is the story of a soldier's devotion, a child’s love and the Red Cross at home and overseas. Many of the scenes were taken in France and Italy, some of them at great risk and actually under fire. Heading the cast, in the roll of the Red Cross nurse, is Miss Jane Vance, the little West Vlrginla girl who star- red in the widely successful, patriotic serfal picture, A Daughter of Uncle Sam. Miss Vance's present role is one of her best creations. Jack Harfand, of the Famous Play- ers—Lasky Corporation, plays the part of the young soldier whose fortunes are followed throughout the picture. Miss Gloria Goodwin, well known in New York as an artistic dancer and musical comedy star, will be seen as the soldier's wife. Betty Clarke, the adorable three-year-old tot, whose work before the camera s already created a furors, will appear in many appealing scenes as the soldier's child. A portion of the action takes place in the Model Red Cross workroom in New York, which is supposed to set the standard for other chapter work- reoms throughout the country. The picture blends educational value with interest in a way that provides # varied and interesting entertainment and should prove an effective means of showing the people of the United States what becomes of the service they give and the millions they sub- scribe to the Red Cross. Mme. Laura de Turczynowicz will simborate upon the picture with facts and figures of the American Red Crdss, which do not lend themselves to the screen.
