Bailey, administrator of the estate of Joseph Stone, has sold the property at 438 Main street to Mrs. Henry Coit, who will improve the same. Coit Agency Sells Washington Street Property. Through the agency of Archa W. Coit, the Estate of Richard S. Parker has sold to Mr. Henry H. Murray the very desirable residence property known as 253 Washington street, con- sisting of a two and one-half story frame dwelling with large lot. The house which was built by the late Willam H. Davenport is thoreughly modern throughout, and is one of the most attractive residences in that sec- tion of the city. Mr. Murray is elec- trical engineer for the Shore Lire Electric Railway. He moves to Nor- wich with his family from North Car- olina, and will occupy the property in the near future. Kingston Fair to be It i with added interest that the final arrangements for this year's Kingston county fair which opens on Sept. 10, are being made by the board members from all parts of the state. The war has undoubtedly lent a new aspect to the raising of crops and it is evident that the farmers today re- alize the vital importance of their oc- cupation, as indicated by the tremen- dous increase in this season's crops An event of unusual impoftance is g Event. that on nor's Day ex-President Taft will deliver an address in addi- tion to the annual address by the governor, R. Livingston Beeckman. It expected that these interesting fea- draw a record crowd. sident Taft X~ is engaged in many war activities and he, is a speaker of unusual interest. His ear- nest wish for world peace has put him very much in the public eve, and while he stands squarely for a fight to the finish, he has advanced ideas on help- ing or=anize the world to make future wars impossible. The usual competi- tive exhibit of fruit and vegetable specimens will of course take place at the fair, and it ig expected that they will excel anything displayed at pre- vious fairs. In addition to this a number of educational experiments and exhibitions dealinz with agricul- cultural problems will be given for the benefit of the farmers in the vicinity, but they will be none the less inter- esting to the city person. The women have not been forgot- ten in this event, for a great deal of eparation has been made to give hem helpful hints about household subjects, and every woman will find it well worth her while to attend the many exhibits featuring sewing, em- broidery, and the arts relative to household affairs. Special plans have been made for a series of excellent vaudeville enters tainments under the direction of Sam- uel Baldino, conmsisting of a number of acts, as follows: A musical comedy act, comedy trapeze act, clown act. quartet comedy Z#inging act, strong tumbler act, dog and monkey act. BREED THEATRE An unusually attractive bill of fea- ture photoplays is to be seen at the Breed theatre today and Suturday. It is headed by Vivian Martin in Molly Entangled, a five-part Paramount pro. duction. This is an Irish story writ- ten by Edith Kennedy and is an un- usually wholesome and amusing pho- toplay. It is one of the best that thiy ciever little star has worked in for some time. Playthinge is the title of the second feature of this bill. It is a Bluebird in five parts and stars Fritzie Bru- nette. Roscde (Fatty) Arbuckle is also seen in his latest comedy, Good Night Nurse. In this remarkable comedy Mr. Arbuckle plays the part of a hea weight bon vivant who is sent to a sanitarium to be cured and who ex- periences a few things calculated to shatter the ribs of the spectators. The latest war news in the Hearst- Pathe Weekly, which is always good will complete the bill for today and Saturday.
