Opportunity for Buyers to Be Properly Fitted With Really Fashionable Cors: This is Bon Ton week at the Special- ty Shop,.140 Main street, Norwich, where the latest models in the famous Bon Ton corset, manufactured by the Royal Worgester Corset company, are on display. An expert corsetiere and fashion authority is ready to give ad- vice and suggestions to buyers, also to fit figures with the model of corset which each requires. A leading Bon Ton model this sum- mer is of pink shoe satin, washable, for the slender average type of figure. Brocaded silk models in pink are pro- vided for both slender and stout buy- ers, and there are numerous smart de- signe In fancy batiste and coutil The best liked models are shorter, and with low bust. Charming designs come in front lace styles developed in satin, coutil, batiste and brocaded silk. In these front lace models the ten- dency seems to be toward a short cor- set for slender figures. while for aver- age figures are provided models with pedium bust and longer skirt. In both front and . back laced types, and art have combined to in- graceful. symmetr figure, while giving comfort, scientific support and fashionahly shaping the form. All Bon Ton models have the peerless O. J. C. clasp and all are of the superior workmanship guaranteed for all products of the Royal Worcester Cor- set company’s factory. Then. too, the prices still remain marvelousiy rea- sonable for a war year, ranging from 3.50 to $12. with extra models up to 435 on special order. Wise women realize that a correct is the foundation of all corset to select the right design for 1ing wear, athletics, house or street sports and all other wardrobe demands. A MARVELOUS INVENTION. Shrinker and Finisher Being Demon- strated at the Boston Store This Week. Takes the shrink out of every ma- ferial: conserves the fabric: increases its wear; makes wrinkles vanish: sets even doubtful colors. Such are the merits of the wonderful new machine, about which crowds gathereq all day Tuesday, just within the Main street entrance of the Boston store. The machine is being demonstrated by.its inventor, Albert Bray, of Cleve- land. O.. whg explains that the ordi- nary method of sponging cloth, now made to seem antiquated by his de- vice, was the idea of Beau Brummel}, back in 1810. By this new method, velvet. woolen, linen, silk. any material in fact is given scientific. spotless shrinking. sponging and pressing. Many customers of the Boston store improved the chance to have newly vurchased goods shrunk and pressed Tuesday, and tailors and others who saw the machine were enthusiastic over its aualities. Tuesday’s shrink- ing was free: but from now on the charge will be 2 cents for cloth and 5 cents for woolen fabrics. Being put through the machine, steamed .and pressed revived even the oldest zoods in a wonderful degree, the pile on vel- wvet being raised, and wrinkles in long- folded cloth vanishing as if by magic, vxillm e new goods are shrunk once for 2 BREED.THEATRE.
