The death of William Van Horn oc- curred at Hotel Hooker, Tuesday morning at 10.18, death being due to uremia, after an iliness of one day. He was born in Milford, Conn., Jnly 2, 1845. When thirty, he went to Col- chester and lived there tweny-five years. He was engaged in many pur. suits in that place, as for a time h was conductor on _the _Colchester branch of the New Hayen rosad, tick- ot agent of the New Haven road at Colchester, and_later, an official in the Colchester Savings bank. He came to this citv about twelve years ago and has been connected with the Hooker house ever since. His nearest _relatives are two nephews and niece Mrs. Frank L. Hanover.
