A reunion of the pupils of Thomis Knowlton Peck was held at the Con- gregational church Saturday, Oet. 13. in the morning registrations _wers made and a pleasant social time wa enjoyed. Dinner was served by th Tadies' Gulld to about fifty. The pres- ident of the assoclation, Mrs. James Bennett, presided at the afternoon business meeting. The roll was call- ed and many responses were read from Sarious sections of the county. After the singing of several cld schooi songs Mre. Bepnett introduced Allen B. Lin- coin of New Haven who gave a most interesting address on Schools—Then ana Now. Mrs. Frank L. Smith sang a solo. In closing all the members united in the old time closing song. Invited to Norwich. A leaders’ conference is to be held in Park church parish house, Norwich, at 2.30 o'clock to which all members of the C. E. society have beem in- vited. General News. Curry and sister, Miss Bva Curry are visiting friends in Chicopee Falls, Mass, also attending the ex- position in West Springfield.
