James McNally and Jullan Rangus are finishing their first year. OBITUARY. ’ Mrs. George Rooney. The sudden death of Mrs. Mary Mur- phy Rooney, wife of George Rooney, which occurred soon after 11 o'clotk Monday evening at her home on West | Town street from an attack of heart, trouble, was a shock to many friends. Mrs. Rooney was born in Ireland, the daughter of Jeremiah and Annie Casey Murphy, and came with her “parents | when very young to this country and | to Norwich. They lived on the West| Side, where she received her educa- tion in High street school. In 1882 the family moved to Norwich Town. June 28, 1893, her marriage with George Rooney took place at St. Patrick’s church, the ceremony being performed by Rev. John Neale. A°"son, William J.
