PAGEANT NETTED $50 Children’s Entertainmant for Benefit: of Red Cross Most Successful. The Children’s Holiday is the title of a little pageant enteftainingly given Monday afternoon on the lawn of the T. E. Hopkins estate, Main street, by about 30 members of Miss Corinne Paine’s dancing class. Over $50 was netted. The pageant was based on a story written by Miss Frances Danielson of this town, a regular contributor of children’s stories to well known pub- lications. Folk dances were featured by the class, which was prettily cos- tumed. The entertainment was given for the benefit of the Danielson chap- ter of the American Red Cross and the net proceeds represent the con- tribution of the participants fo their country’s cause.
