Dr. Senior is hizh educated, was an officer in the Eng- lish army, but his bright career was prevented by the intervention of John Barleycorn. Many times the doctor has been haled into the Third dis- trict court at Westerly for intoxica- |tion, and once on the more serious | charge of murder and abortion. H.s conduct was so unbecoming a membar of the medical profession that at the request of the state association of phy- sicians he was prohibited to practice medicine in Rhode Island. -After ing released from custody by the state, Dr. Senior went to Waterbur: leaving his family in Westerly. There the doctor violated the law in re- gard to narcotics and served a jail {sentence. In due time he returned to Westerly and a few months later, with his family, moved to Stonington borouzh. He was arraigned in th~ town court Saturday for a fourth time within a and was charged with | short period, seing a common drunkard.
