As vet no official entries have beed made but Charnetski and others who have par- ticipated for the past two vears have signified their Intentions of running again this vear. Any runner of ama- teur standing in eastern Connecticut who has not previously won a Bulle- tin trophy is eligible to run. Since the Academy has placed a track team on the fleld this vear promoters of the race expect that some of the N. F. A. performers will sign up. Philadelphia, May 7—Benny Leon- ard, the New York lightwelght, knocked out Charlle (Kid) Thomas of Philadelphia in the last round of their six round bout here tonight. Leonard clearly outclassed the local boxer in every round.
