DAVIS THEATRE. Last Chancs to See the Big Five Acts Bill of Kelth Vaudeville and William S. Hart in @ Triangle Feature Today —New Show Tomerrow. Today will be the last chance the Norwich thestregoers will have to en- joy the excellent five act trial bill that bas been drawing big crowds to the Davie the past two days, and no one should miss the show, for every act has come up to more than expectations and that the public have appreciated the show is shown by the crowded houses. The feature attraction is The Fireside Reveries, a miniature musical comedy, with a_cast of preity girls and two men. They sing and dance and carry one of the prettiest stage cettings ever seen on a vaudeville stage. Green, Miller and Green are making & big hit with thelr singing, dancing and musical offering. Jack Polk comes next with a monologue act that is just a succession of laughs. Kelso and Leighton have a comedy skit that makes an enjoyable enter- tainment, and Reddington and Grant keep things humming with their bouneing act. The Triangle featurc is Wiillam S. Hart in the five part Ince picture, The Square Deal Man, and Ford Sterling supplies the comedy in & two reel Keystone called Stars and Bar: AUDITORIUM. Clars Kimball Young in The Price She Paid, the Latest Selznick Release, is the Feature Phctodrama for Today and Thursday—Twelfth Episode of Patria Completes the Program. One of the most absorbing stories ever projected upon the screen is The Price She Paid, In which the popular Beiznick pictures star, Clara Kimball Young, will be seen at the Auditorium theatre today and Thureday. This story, by David Graham Phillips, deals with the problems of a young woman who has always lived in luxury and who finds herself practically penniless. It is not merely a few isolated dra- matic incidents, but goes into the de- tails of the life of the heroine, Mi dred Gower, and her efforts to achieve independence and save her own self- respect. Miss Young has not in a long time had a role which affords such op- portunity for beautiful costuming, nnd her charm of personality is revealed as it seldom has been in any of her work for the screen. The twelfth episode of Patria, with Mrs. Vernon Castle, completes the pro- #ram. In this chapter Patria holds a review which consists of a regiment of cowboys, artillery, a large company of cowgirls, a troop of Indians and & com- pany of dare-devil riders. There wiil be a slight advance in prices during the engagement of The Price She Paid. Matinee 16c, evening 15 and 20c. BREED THEATRE. Madame Petrova in The Secret of Eve, a Powerful Metro Wonderplay, Fea- ture for Today and Thursday. Great scenes abound in The Secret of Eve, the Metro production starring Madame Petrova, which will be see mt the Breed theatre today and Thurs- day. This five-act drama has been written by Aaron Hoffman, a wizard of the film drama, and directed by Perry Vekroff. In this production Madame Petrova is seen in four distinct char- acterizations—as the original mother of all, Eve in the Garden of Bden, as Hager, a_gypsy woman of the cara- vans, as Eve, the voung girl, Hager's child, who becomes a Quaker, and as Eve, the gaiety-loving wife of Arthur Brandon. Other pictces on the bill include the Burton Holmes travel series and a very funny Black Diamond comedy. The special Vitagraph Bine Ribbon feature, God's Country and the Wom- man, coming to the Breed Friday and Saturday. A bill of unusual merit will be at the Breed theatre on Friday and Saturday and is headed by the special Biue Ribbon feature God's Country and the Woman. This is a powerful drama of the northwest in eieht gripping acts and is taken from the book by James Oliver Curwond. It is presented with an all-star cast headed by William Duncan, Georze Holt and Ship- man. A special music score comes with this picture and wil be rendered daring this engagement by the orches- tra. which will.be augmented to six pieces. PURCHASE OF NITRATES FOR FERTILIZING PURPOSES.
