If you want to see a show that will give you a good laugh, don't fall to visit ‘the Davis today. The feature attraction is Murphy, Nichols & Co. four people, who have a roaring fun- ny travesty, from Zaza to Uncle Tom. This is a big time headline act and has played all the larger Keith thea- tres, over two thousand times. The wecond act is Billy Nickerson, the un usual monologist, who sings, dances and tells storles in his own pecuilar way. The other act is Joe Dealey and Sister, a clever tsam of enteftainers, who have one of the prettiest dancing novelties in vaudeville. The Triangle feature on this bill 1s Dorothy Dalton, the new and magnetic star of the Kay Bee company, in Chicken Casey, & five part Ince production. The play has to do with the adven- tures of an actress who playggu clever trick on a young author to ‘convince him that she is fitted for a role which she desires. It is necessary for the accomplishment of her purpose that she disguise herself as a girl of the slums and undergo a series of startling adventures. She is “game” and the eventual discomfiture of the author is compiete. The play is extremely amusing and cffers excellent opportunities not only to Miss Daltdn but also to Charles Gunn, the new Thomas H. Ince lead- ing man, who appears as the author. To compiete the show, there ‘s a funny comedy called A Grab Bax Bride. with Al St John and a cast of old Keystone favorites, R BREED THEATRE ety Emmy Wehien in Vanity, Five-part Metro Wonderplay Feature for To- day—The Fall of a Nation Thurs- day, Friday and Saturday. Today and tonight the Breed will present the most bewitching of stars, Bmmy Wehlen, in the new Metro wonderplay, Vanity. This thrilling drama is from the pen of one of America’s greatest dramatic _writers, Aaron Hoffman, and shows the folly of a girl's allowing her imagination to run riot on the subject. of beautiful clothes. It also teaches a great moral lesson. The Burton Holmes travel se- ries and a very funny comedy com- Dlete the bill for_today. On_Thursday, Friday and Saturday the Breed will present the mightiest picture of world conflict that the brain of man has vet conceived -and Tealized, The Fall of a Nation. An orchestra of ten pieces will render the original Victor Herbert score and the picture will be presented in its mag- nificent entirety and exactly as pro- duced at the Liberty theatre, New York, and the Illinois theatre, Chica- €0, where it was shown at prices Tanging from fifty cents to two dol- Jays. The management of the Breed is" obliged to make a slight increase in admission to this production but has placed the price in reach of all Matinees all seats will be fifteen cents and evenings the entire house will be twenty cents. There will be four shows daily at 115, 3, 7 and 845 p. m. THE AUDITORIUM. A Strong Bill for Today and Thursday Matinee—Thursday Evening Thea- tre Has Been Leased by Outside Parties, Therefore Necessitating the Change from Regular Programm Today and Thursday matinee will see Jean Sothern in a picturization of Whoso Findeth a Wife. This is one of the most widely read novels of the ast year. It is written as a protest the theme of Hall Caine's The Woman Thou Gavest Me, and has attracted widespread attention from the church and press. Another big_attraction for _these performances will be the fourth epi- Sode of that famous serial Patria, with Mrs. Vernon Castle. Owing to the theatre management having leased the Auditorium for Thursday evening the regular show will necessarily have to be omitted.
