Gordon by Judge Burpee in the su- perior court in New London Tuesday morning. The grounds were intemper- ance. The case was down as con- tested, but it was uncontested when it was called for trial. The couple were married in 1893 and fhere are no minor children. The superior court came in Tuesday morning to try the case of Olivia Case against Marie L. Kaszewicz, an appeal from probate. The case involves an estate of about $2,500. The contest is an appeal in the es- tate of Clara M. Root of Hartford, who left property at Pine Grove, Niantic. The estate was settled as intestate. Attorney John J. Lawless of New Lon- don and Effic Haynes of Niantic were administrators. It is claimed that af- ter the settlement of the estate Miss Kaszewicz of Brooklyn presented a will of which she is the executrix and which was admitted to probate in the surrogate courts of New York. By 11 it is claimed that some of the including a business in New York, was left to the executrix, while the ribution of the estate in the probate court of I2ast Lyme left the property, to Mrs. Case, a sister of the festatrix.
