New Show Today—Three Big Keith Acts—Triangle Photo<features and Charlie Chaplin in His Latest Com- edy, The Pawnshop. There will be an entire new show at the Davis today and the bill for the last half of this week is one that no one should miss. Heading the vaudeville is the big Keith attraction presented by Haviland and Thorton, called_At Trouville. This is a comedy sketch that is just one laught after other. They carry special scenery nd come to the Davis direct from Keith’s Theatre, New York. Josephine Lenhart, a dainty little miss, has a novel character change offering, that will please evegyome; and Nip and Tuck completes the vaudeville with a talkative acrobatic act. This is an act th: is different, and one that will be a big hit with the patrons of this theatre. The Triangle feature is call- ed “The Little Liar”, featuring Mae Marsh and Robert Harron. This is a five-part Griffith production, and is quite an original story, repiete with any dramtaic incidents and closes th a blg smashing climax. To com- plete the show Charlie Chaplin, the million dollar comedian, will be seen in his latest and funniest comedy call- “The Pawnshop”, a two reel pic- ure with two_thousand laughs. ‘The wn Shop” has plenty of plot. There are a lot of real thrills mingling in with the laughs, and Mr. Chaplin gets away with some actual heroies well mixed with fun. s the title indicates, the setting of newest picture finds itself be- neath a three ball sign, with Chaplin a sort of under-counter tender, book- keeper, window washer and regaler of time to the fair BEdna, daughter of he owner of the shop. whose kitchen, with dainties of her making, s into the store. Jaffrey is a wonderful drama of love and adven- ture, full of sentiment, beauty ana vigor, with a happy ending and fol- lows the book precisely. - Loomer Opera House, Willimantic Local playgoers will have oppor- tunity of passing judgment on Thos. H. Ince’s incomparable screen success, “Civilization,” at the Loomer Opera House, Willlmantic, today, when the great producer will present his mas- terpiece. “Civilization” is still playing to ca- pacity audiences at the Criterion thea- tre, New York, where it opened a record breaking engagement last June. He was immediate- ly acclaimeq the peer of native screen producers and credited with having achieved the impossible. Never be- fore in the history of the art has any- one been successful in placing on the screen an aninfated representation of the Christus. THE PLAUT-CADDEN Norwichs FRANK W. COY, !esterly, R. I, CATARRHAL DEAFNESS CANNOT BE CURED by local applications, as they eannot reach the diseased portion 5f ‘he ear. There is only one way to cure atarrhai deafness, and that is by a constitutional remedy. Catarrhal deafness is caused by an inflamed condition of the mucous lining of the Eustachian tube. When this tube is inflamed you have a rum- bling sound or imperfect hearing, and when it 1s entirely closed deafness is the result. Unless the inflammation can be reduced and this tubs restored to its normal condition, hearing will be destroyed forever. Many cases of deafness are caused by catarrh, which is an inflamed condition of the mucous surfaces. Hall’s Catarrh Cure acts through the blood on the mucous sur- faces of the system.
