BREED THEATRE. ‘Special Feature for Wednesday and Thursday, The Spoilers, in ‘Nine Acts. On ‘Wednesday and Thursday of next weelc the Breed will present The i Spotlers, taken from the famous book iby Rex Beach. This is a Selig pro- {duction and is in nine gripping acts ifeaturing Willlam Farnum and Kath- {lyn Williams. The Spollers is a thrill- ing, powerful and picturesque master- |piece and is positively the most won- {derful story ever filmed and presents {the most stubborn, strenuous and ex- !citing fight ever pictured—the acme of realism. This production had a fort- night run on Broadway, New York city, an eight weeks' record breaking run’at the Studebaker, Chicago, and {two record weeks at Keith's Boston theatre, also two banner weeks at the Natfonal theatre, Boston. For The Spoilers the management of the Breed have decided to charge only the usual house prices, making no ad- vance, which is unusual for a_produc- ton of this kind. The orchestra will be augmented and render a specially selected musical programme. Matinees will start at 215, and the evening shows will be at 6.45 and .45, BREED THEATRE. The River of Romance, with Harold Loclwood, one of the most gifted stars on the screen, and May Allison, who is_equally as talented, in_the stellar roles, is the feature at the Breed thea- ‘tre for today. Most of the exterior scenes of this production were taken in the Thousand Islands, where the company of players were sent. Several palatial homes of New York and Pitts- burgh millionaires were used by the Lockwood-Allison _forces in photo- graphing the many and picturesque scenes. There is a strong supporting cast, beaded by Lester Cuneo, the well known heavy leading man. The Preed also presents the Metro Travelogue and Mr. and Mrs, Sidney Drew in a funny one-reel comedy en- titled His Rival completes the bill for today. On Monday and Tuesday the Breed will present Lionel Barrymore and Grace Valentine in the five-part Metro wonderplay Dorian’s Divorce. In this production Mr. Barrymore, who won such a signal popularity with Metro audiences In The Quitter, adds to the laurels which already are his in high degrec on both stage and screen. Never before has he had a role more admir- ably suited to the distinctive talents which have won him his eminent place in the world of dramatic art than that of Dorian Keene, the ideal- Istic but devoted husband, the charac- ter he portrays in the preeent produc- tion. Grace Valentine, who shares stellar honors with Mr. Barrymore, in the part of the whimsical wife, also handles a difficult role with rare artis- try and in a fashion that captures the audiences’ sympathy. Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Drew will also be seen in their latest film farce enti- tled At a Premium, AT THE AUDITORIUM. Homan’s Musical Comedy Company to Be the Attraction Next Week. The management of the Auditorium have booked for their main attraction next week the popular Homan’s Mu- sical Comedy company, which is well known to Norwich theatregoers. Mr. Homan has an entirely new show this season, which is more on the style of a musical comedy than a song revue, but has kept many of his original cast, including Eddie Flavelle, William OCornell, Dorothy Dean and four other principals, besides a big chorus of pretty girls in which there will be several new faces, There will be three bills on the week, changing Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and each bill will run over an hour, with three com- plete ehows daily. Besides the Homan show, there Wil be a big bill of Para- mount and V. L. S. B. photoplays, in- cluding the five-reel Lasky production, Mae Murray in an elaborate picturiza- tion of Sweot Kitty Belairs from the play by David Belasco. Frank Daniels will be seen again in another of the Mr. Jack V. L. S, E. comedies. The prices will be as follows: Matinee all seats 10c; evenings, main floor 20c, balcony 10c. AT THE AUDITORIUM. Last Chance to See the Carmelo Mu- sical Comedy Company Today. Today the Carmelo Musical Comedy sompany, which has been making such 2 hit here all week, will give their last three performances—matinee at 2.30 and two full evening performances at 7 and 9 o'clock. They will repeat the bill they played for ihe first time vesterday, ‘entitied Keep Moving, a very funny farce comedy, interspersed with many musical numbers by the pretty chorus, who will exhibit many dainty and attractive gowns during the show. The second episode of the Bea- trice Fairfax serial, which is now run- ning in the Boston and New York Sundey Americans, will be shown on the screen. happened when his orders were not carried out promptly. Another jeadliner is the Retter Brothers, two lever athletes who present a tcom- }y act that is in a class by ftself. They introduce some remarkable feats, ncluding double somersaults from the loor, an almost impossible trick. This et goes to Keith's, Providence, next veek.
