Fitch, now pastor of the Second Congregational church in Cornwall, suffered a partial sun- stroke v in August. His pulpit has been supplied so far by different min- isters, two of whom were sons of the old church. Rev. Mr. Fitch was an honored guest here at the 250th anni- versary of the First Congregational chyrch, giving,at that time the his- torical address. In that address he says: “If 1 take in the situation of my invitation to this important anniver- sary occasion it is because I stand in the ministry as representative in the seventh generation in a direct line of descendants from that truly reverend man, Rev.
