The official status of infantile paral- ysis In Westerly and Pawcatuck is unchanged since Sunday, with a total of thres cases, including onme death.; Strict police quarantine is being main- tained in the affected premises. In addition, seven suspected cases were reported Monday, and in each instance quarantine is in force, and will be un- til it is definitely determined whether there Is substantial basis for the sus- picion of infantile paralysis. At the meeting held in the office of Dr. Michael H. Scanlon it was voted to issue notice of warning to the public, signed by Willlam A. Hillard, M. D. secretary of the Westerly Physicians' Medical society, by Lewis Stanton, su- perintendent of health for the town of Westerly, Charles F. Congdon, M. D., health officer of the town of Stoning- ton, and by Thurman P. Mali health officer of the town of Stoning- ton.
