Mrs. Mary Lockwood, wife of Henry Lockwocd, died very suddenly on Wed- afternoon. Mrs. Lockwood was born in Lisbon, 41 years ago and has resideq in this town for a2 number of year She leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband, seven children, the ycungest a few hours old, her par- ents, and several brothers. Arthur L. Briggs. On Thursday morning the communi- ty received with deep sorrow the news of the death of Arthur L. Briggs aft- er a brief attack of acnte indigestion. Mr. Briges was about his usual work until Tuesday evening when suddenly stricken. His death occurred early on Thursday morning.
