William _ Geising - an_ex-spldier, drink “crazed, made a murderous as- sault upon his wife, Mrs, Mary Gels- ing, with an axe early Monday morn- inw at their home, 13 Potter street, New Londén and as a result the wo- man is at the Memorial hospital in a dangerous condition, while - Geising is at the police headquarters strapped in a stright jacket with a charge of assanlt with intent to kill facing him.
