The chief found the car, a Rambler, which was damaged and out of commission. The car was taken to a garage. The li- cense number was 1,979 and it was found that the number was credited to an Oldsmobile belonging to Christo- pher Dulkowski of Norwich. After getting in touch with the Norwich po- lice, Chief Richmond found that the car belonged to Dulkowski and that the Rambler was one he received in trade for the Oldsmobile. He came to this city Sunday night and called on Chief Richmond and explained matters. He said that he had taken the number from his old car with the intention of notifying the office of the secretary of state Monday. He was told to do so at once.
