The sewer assessment committee was authorized to build an extension of about 500 feet to the South Park street sewer. The street committes was instructed to contract for sidewalk construction during the ensuing year. Rules and regulations for the public library as submitted by the library committee were read and accepted. A resolution was adopted establish- ing the followins salaries in the street department, starting March 20: Labor- ers, $2 for nine hour day; pavers, $2.25 for nine hour day; foreman, $17 per week. Increase of 12 1-2 cents a day for laborers and pavers and $2 a week for the foreman. The water committee was ipstructed to investigate the recommendation of uperintendent Moulton relative to the needs of a_new water wheel, also the painting of all woodwork at the pumping station and report at the next meeting.
