NORWICH TOWN Yantic Rector and Choir at Sheltering Arms Service—Nichols Family to Move to Portland, Maine—Oyster Supper Party. At the Sheltering Arms * Sunday there was evening prayer and an ad- dress by Rev. The ‘“cer- tain man” in the parable was going down from the city of righteousness to the city of sin. As he went down the first wrong step was taken, then followed evil asoscigtions, he = “fell among thieve: The priesthood of the Jewish nation did not help those in need. The e came nearer but only knew Thou shalt not, he did not practice, Thou shait love thy neigh- bor. ‘The Samaritan knew naught of priest or of law, he was a law to himself. . He./came in compassion, end gave the man spirit and life and strength. Our Lord means by this parable to teach that the fallen can e restored and can be kept for Christ until He comes again.
