Alexander Harrington of_this " city and, Brooklyn, M. Y., is in Waterbury endeavoring to straighten out the mud- die in his wife's affairs with Pareant. Regarding Mr. Harrinston's appear- jance in Waterbury on Monday, the Waterbury Republican said: Harrington has forgiven his wife for nning away from him and says he willing to pay all her debts and taks her back home with him. He claims thot all the while his wife was with Parearnit that she was hypnotized. “There is no doubt but that he hyp- notized her,” he said. “I saw him do it once and he put her to sleep. I think that she was under his influence all the time that she traveled with him.” Mr. Harrington zdvanced another theory as to Pareant’s antecedents.
