Little River grange held its meet- ing in Grange hall Friday evening, the 18th. The lecturer's program was very interesting. The principal fea- ture was a women's debate, Resolved, That We Are in More Danger from Over-Eating Than from Tuberculosis. There was also a roll call for the brothers. The married brothers re- sponded by telling a favorite dish their mothers used to make and brought samples of same. The unmarried ones responded by telllng _their favorite fruit, bringing some of that. Another feature was a Grand Horse show, con- sisting of a contest as to who could draw the best sketch of a horse. Wor- thy Master Burnham received the booby prize, he drawing a saw horse.
