All Lady Vaudeville Acts a Big Success at the Davis Theatre This Week— Million Dollar Mystery Today. Judging by the crowds that have at tended every performance at this pop. ular playhouse this week, the all-lady. vaudeville show has proved a big suc- cess with the patrons. BEvery act on the bill is entirely made up of ladies and every one is an entertainer of the .highest standard, the Three Anderson Sisters fill the headline position in a novel character change oddity called Scenes in a Dressing Room, introduc- ing 'some lively singing and dancing and finished with a skipping rope dance that is a marvel in the terpsi- chorean art; the costumes worn by these clever‘girls are up to the stand- ard in every respect, and all the cos- tume changing is done on the stage. Alice Farrell is a winsome little miss who sings and plays the violin in a manner leaving nothing to be desired, finishing with a neat dancing number, playing and dancitg at the same time. The Langweed Sisters complete the vaudeville with a lively talking spe- cialty that is full of good, wholesome comedy that never fails to get a lJaugh. The feature photoplay today is the 15th episode of the Million Dollar this installment is called The Hydroplane and is just full odes. Ten million del- lars in cash will be paid to the person who sends in the best soltition of this mystery. The other photoplays include the Mutual War weekly with scenes from the seat of war, and one funny XKeystone comedy called Those Love Pangs, with funny Charlie Chaplin, keeping everyone in roars of laughter. Another girl bill is booked for the last half of the week, with all new fea- tures, Watch. Matinee, 5 and 10 cents; evening, at 7 and 8:45, 10, 15 and 20 cents. Come early and be sure of a seat. “Potash and Perimutter” Millions of persons have read the Potash and Perlmutter stories of Mon- tague Glass and nearly a million have seen the famous comedy built on these storfes at the Cohan theatre, New York city. Potash and Perlmutter comes _to the Davis theatre on Satur- day, November 14, with a splendid company of artists and same elaborate stage setting as seen on Broadway. COLONIAL THEA'I'RE “A Million Bid,” Mammoth Fivo Reel Fecature Vitagraph Film For today the mammoth Broadway New York success, A Million Bid, is the feature at the Colonial theatre. It is in five reels, and is adapted from the powerful play of George Cam- eron’s entitled Agnes. The story is of a selfish mother whose financial de- mands upon her husband cauze his death, and In her effort to keep up appearances arranges for her daumgh- ter to marry into wealth, where there is no love. A wonderful wreck of a vacht upon which the pair is spending their honeymoon is butjone of the many thril's- of the drama. Sensa- tional events are crowded upon each other én-rapld succession and the biz cast includes such familiar names as Anita Stewart, E. K. Lincoln, Julia Swayre Gordan, Harry Merey, Kate Price and orfers. This is the great spectacle which made all the country take notice when it was shown for months at. the great Vitagraph theatre. New York city, the luxurious Broad- way home of the motion picture fans of the metropolis. The prices for to- day are. matinee 5c, evening 10c. One Wonderful Nisht, with Francis Bushman, is the great feature for this week Friday. Don’t miss it. At the Auditorium Today will be the last chance to see the Monkey Cabaret, the big act which has been making such a hit at the Au- fitorium the first three days of this week. These clever lttle imitators ,do a whole show all by themselves ‘without any person appearing on the * stage at all. There are 16 monkeys in all and they have their own stage, their own monkey orchestra, and mon- key performers, assisted by Singing Flossie, a very clever dog. The eight members of the orchestra who play to wccompany the acts are a perfect icream and sometimes draw more at- tention and applause than their broth- r actors. The other acts on the bill UNSIGHTLY PINPLES ON FAGE AND NECK lichy, Burnlng, Red and Inflamed. Came to a Head: Used Cuticura Soap and Ointment.
