The reports of the secretary, treasurer and librarian were read and accepted. The report concerning the branch library estab- lished at Uncasville in February was very favorable, the circulation of books and magazines during the eight months being in excess of the main library for the year, showing that it is appreciat- ed Dy the pepple in that part of the town. Parks Found Dead—Church Bell Rings- Again. Frastus S. Parks, a life long resi- dent of this place was found dead by Avery G. Chapman, Thursday morn- ing. He was seen on Wednesday after- noon by his neighbors, and, as he had one shoe off, it was persumed he had died in the early evening. He was found lying back of his store.
