A Bloodless Battle. During the sham battle here Wed- nesday the Blues were captured by Squadrons A and B of Massachusetts. ‘Troop A is called the National Lamers. There were various other troops from New Haven along with three troops, A, B, and C from Rhode Island. It was exciting to witness the fourteen Biues surrounded by seven Reds. After a hard battle which lasted an hour the Blues were captured. Another incident which showed bravery on the part of the Blues was the fact that two of the captives es- caped from the, enemy and at nine p. m. were discovered seeking to reach the main camp in Hampton. Their guns and horses were taken from them and pinned to their coats was a ribbon, signifying their capture.
