The Academy team met with another defeat - Saturday afternoon_ at the hands of the New London Independ- ents on the campus. The game was the Dbest that has been seen on the ‘campus this year. Neither team scored until the fourth inning, when Kegfe laced a two bagger out, scoring Daly. Brickley was touched for eight hits that were pretty well scattered, fan- ning nine of the independents.
