Louis Russell Smith, the little two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, of West Hartford, died last ing cough. His body was brought to South Chaplin Tuesday afternoon and taken to the home of FEllsworth M. 'Russell, where a funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p. m. Rev. H. C. McKnight, pastor of the Congregation- al church, was assisted in the service by Rev. Walter E. Lanphear of Hart- ford. There were many beautiful tributes of flowers. There was a fine floral form from the South Chaplin’ Sunday school. A trio, Mrs. H, C. Mc Gallup, sang Only a Beam of Sunshine and Sometime We'll Understand. The bearers were E. M.
