Mabrey, principal of the Bennington, Vt.,, high school, Mrs, Ma- brey and their litfle son John are | spending the holiday vacation with Mr. Magrey’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. fouis Mabr of Broadway. Prin- { cipal Mabrey has introduced a num- ber of innovations in teaching meth- |ods at Bennington which are work- |ing out most successfully. There are nine teachers under his supervisiony Instead of the regulation trade school, his method is to have the boys apprenticed in practicai form, letting them work at whatever trade they may select for one week and attend high school the next. In this way no time is lost and when a boy leaves school he knows just what work he is fitted for.
