GOOD PROGRESS ON WILLIMANTIC BUILDINGS. Contracters Are Advancing Work As Rapidly As Possible. (Special to The Builletin.) Willimantie, Dee. 3.—At the garage of the Jordan Auto Com the con- créte work is all poured, and there re- mains only seme covering of the out- side tile walls with cement, and a few partitions to flnish that part of the work. The electric wiring is all in, and the elevator, of the plunger type, capabie of lifting 6,000 pounds is practically ready for operation. The window work i all in eXcept the three large plate glass windows in the downstairs show-reom, which will be installed at once. The plumbers are at work, and the commodious build- ing shows many signs of nearing completion. The Connecticut En- gineering and Contracting Company are in charge. Building Cellar Walis. There are 30 or more men working for the Fenton-Charnley Company at the new High School building, and they are busily emgaged laying the massive brick partition walls in the celilar. The center part of the new building is 30 feet forward from the id line, and the entire building will be three stories in height, whereas the builfing which burned was of three storfes only in the center portion. The partitions at the east end are nearly finished, and the cement floor for that end will be _poured while the ether partitions are’ being erected. At The Natchaug School. The Natchaug School in course of erection by the Doyle & Murphy Company is rushing along rapidly. The stome work for the second floor is being }aid and evervthing is ready to begin pouring that floer. Plumbers are at work, the plastering almost finished, | windows in, wiring d&ome, and out- side work all concluded, with the ex- | ception of the pipe comnections which | are being made. The building will | be of material aid in the werk of the | cohurch and gives evidences of careful planning for that purpose.
