His experience and skill have em- abled him to substantially énlarge, modernize dnd perfect this department and be has a large number of personal Jetters from patients whose eyesight has been decidedly benefited and who mre after all the best endorsement Mr. March counld reasonably require. The grinding, plant and other equip- ment added to the optical department cost the Plaut-Cadden company a large sum of money, but it is not the policy of this progressive house to consider the matter of expense when better service for its patrons ls avail- able. The plant has a grinding capacity of four lenses at once. Only ten min- utes is required for the process and each pe of lense of course has its own ditinctive pattern. The chance of a misfit is reduced to the smallest possible minimum. i The optical department is doing more work each month than it did the month’ before. Its growth has been consistently bgsed on the results at- tained through a conscientious desire 1o relieve eye troubles of those that have called on it seeking relief. Although Mr. March gives all his time to the work of the optical depart- ment, Stephen W. Hall, who, like Mr. March, has been a Plaut-Cadden man sorhe years, is also a graduate op- lan.
