Fred Menard was kicked by a.horse Wednesday while delivering goods from Casavant's -store. ~ He, with Clovis Casavant, weas in_Sylvandale, both riding on the seat of the wagon. Without warning the horse kicked, knocking Mr. Menard over into the back of the wagon, Mr. Casayant was thrown-out and dragged along for a few feet, but clung, to the reins and stopped ‘the horse. He was not in- jured. Mr. Menard had a bad gash on one knee and his ankle was hurt. ‘The horse was a new one and is used to being driven double.~ The owner, F. X.
