Saturday forenoon as Moses Tatro was riding his motoreycie at a moder- ate rate through Church street he col- lided with a team that was backing out of George Whipple’s barn. He was thrown from his wheel and it was thought he was seriously injured, as he was rendered unconscious for several hours. Dr. Hoover applied restoratives and directed his removal to his home. Owing to the recent dry spell water in the ponds is so low as to necessi- tate the using of steam power at the local mills. Monday’s storm spoiled Labor's holi- day in hig town. Mr. Maynard died suddenly of heart failure Satur- day evening.
