The funeral services of Mrs. Daniel Ladd were held in the Congregational church on Tuesday at 2 e'clock, Many friends had assembled to pay a last tribute to Mrs Ladd. Rev. Mr. Smith of Baltic condueted the service. Sing- ing was by the cheir. The floral pleces were many and handseme, one large pillow being marked Mother. Mrs. Ladd had seen much sorrow durl the past five months. Her husbant Daniel Ladd, passed away Jan. 16th. Two months later her son, ' George Ladd, died, and about oge month ago the home in which she had lived for more than 40 years burned to the ground. About two weeks ago Mrs. Ladd had a fall, cutting her arm se- verely, then grip set in, which devel- oped into pneumonia. Mourners who came from out of town were Mrs. George Ladd of New Haven, who was with Mre.
